Emergency planning

Emergencies

棋牌游戏电玩平台A disaster can occur unexpectedly, anywhere, at any time and can take many forms, e.g. flooding, storms, transport incident etc.

To comply with the Civil Contingencies Act we have put plans in place and train our staff in order to respond in an emergency, for example we may be required to set up a rest centre for people that have been evacuated from their homes. Our aim is to ensure that we are prepared for any major emergency, are able to respond to support the emergency services as required, and can assist those affected.

We are part of the which provides a multi-agency response to major emergencies in the county.

Community Resilience

For a community to be resilient, it must develop early and effective plans, so that it can respond to an emergency or disaster in a timely and effective manner.

棋牌游戏电玩平台If you wish to compile a Community Emergency Plan, the Gloucestershire Rural Communities Council has developed a that will help.

If you would like to develop a community emergency plan you could also use our Community Emergency Plan Template.  We would be grateful if you could then share this with the corporate support team, if you are happy to do so.  This will allow us to work closely with you should an emergency occur.  Please email your emergency plan to corporatesupport@fdean.yongdafurniture.com

You may also like to think about your own household and develop a plan for your family. Please use the ‘Are you ready?’ booklet to help you.

Priority service users

If you or a member of your household are vulnerable you may be eligible to register for Utility Priority Services. Please visit the below links to register;
